You may not notice the things that are holding you back from being a great blogger and you would be quiet surprised as to what they are!

Misconception #7: You Need To Have A Narrowed Down Niche

Think of your blog like yourself, are you just one thing? NO! So why should your blog be? We can like many things such as sports, photography, writing, reading, beauty or fashion all at once so why can’t our blog be like that? Now for some bloggers it may be a bit more important to stay true to the niche, but at the end of the day write what you would like to write about and your readers will read it. Pick a niche for your blog but don’t feel restricted, weekly or monthly it is okay to have a post out of the niche range.

SUCCESS: you need to establish the demographic of your target audience.  Therefore, as long as you are creating and posting content that will interest your intended audience, you will succeed as a blogger or entrepreneur. Remember that the niche does not define you!

Hey everyone!

It’s 1 am here and I found myself writing this. A rather short post about my erratic nature.

I’ve always been a fan of the night. A dark, mysterious, cold, an exact replica, a mirror of the morning, silent and serene.

Belief is a feeling that something exists or is true. Belief is a key to successful life, because only when you start believing in what you do and consider it as right, you tend to lead a happy and contented life. But most of us fail in this process of believing. This may happen due to lack of confidence or a low self esteem. A year ago, I was also categorized as a person with low self esteem.

“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” – Albert Schweitzer

There are 5 types of people in the world:

1. Those who do not know what they want in life, and do nothing about it.

2. Those who know what they want in life, but don’t know what to do to achieve it.

One of the things I see fairly often is people who want to change or accomplish something but won’t because of their own self doubt. Yet, they look at others who they view successful as humans who are made of some supernatural “stuff” when that’s just not the case.

Why Fashion Week is so Important (1 min read)

When we think of Fashion Week, our minds usually conjure up images of the fashion elite sitting coolly in front rows of high-end, highly anticipated runway shows. Although this is true, Fashion week is mainly targeted at those who work in the fashion industry. Fashion week is a work event.

Imagine you own your own small business. You have two weeks in a year to display your half year’s work. You have to make it count! You would cram in as many meetings with investors, marketers, and media moguls as you possibly could as this would be your main chance at spreading the word about your products. Same goes for Fashion Week.

We tend not to consciously acknowledge the fact that the fashion media tells us what we love. The fashion media elite attend fashion weeks and pick and choose what they want us to love. These fashions eventually trickle down to all of us and remain in our minds as the newest and most lust-worthy. These fashions are only a very small percentage of what is actually shown during fashion week and if we want to see it all, it takes quite a bit of time and research.

Knowing that the items shown at fashion week will be ultimately controlling our fashion choices for the next year (or two!) is what makes Fashion Week a much-anticipated event. Just like mathematics can predict world events, being familiar with the newest fashion before everyone else can predict a plethora of marketing and social media phenomena.

Not just anyone can score a ticket to shows during Fashion Week, as tickets aren’t available to the public. In most cases, one must be invited to attend to soak up the lovely colors and fabrics floating down the runway.

So check out the latest shows and see if you agree with what the fashion media chooses for us to love!
