I used to go through a lot, and I needed to hear all the right words from my friends to keep me lifted. Sometimes, friends won’t always be available to make you feel better, when something has gone wrong. They, too, sometimes get tired of carrying our burdens as much as we look for them to dump our entire life story on.

Naturally, we live in a world where pain and suffering is part of the living process. I wouldn’t look at it as being normal, but I’d say that it’s something that we all go through daily. And sometimes, I believe that we face challenges for a reason -we must count on our scars to pull us through.

We don’t stay as children forever; we grow up and start running into many stresses that may have us weeping for days, weeks, maybe even months. Part of your evolution has come from these scars, so it’s how you were able to acquire wisdom and other great attributes.

If you didn’t go through the things you’re going through now, you wouldn’t be as smart and strong as you’ve become. Personally, I don’t have a role model to look up to, but I have seen some people use their scars to grow from past events that nearly broke their souls. It’s a process, but it’s one well worth it all because at the end of it all it’s still about you!

  1. Nice article. I would not be who I am today without the trials of my life. They gave me an appreciation for the moment. They also gave me drive and desire. I write articles on topics like this. Give it a read if you have time. Thanks.

  2. As humans we would rather want to go through life with no huddle or challenges. We would rather everything comes cheap like using credit cards to purchase our fantasy. Nevertherless we get disappointed to realise that real life doesnt offer us fairy tales cos even the rich also cry. The universe was designed to test our will and to help us activate a potential that will never come out if we will remain in our comfort zone. Some times we ask and it seems we didnt receive and we all get discourage but it is the way the universe test us to know if we deserve what we are demanding. Scars of disappointments, shame, betrayal should be a reminded of how strong we are to pull through, it should remind us of our potential and not a mark for dejection, sadness or hopelessness. Nice write up ..keep inspiring people.

    1. I’m glad that you are! At the end of the day, that’s my business. This is what I love doing. To inspire people is what makes me happy.
