Too many times, we don’t take ourselves as seriously as we should. We live in the moment, we laugh as hard as we seek good times, but we don’t plan as thoroughly as we should. So how is it possible to have great times without a blue-print? It’s not possible!

I want you to get a piece of paper and start writing up a blue-print (map) of how you want the next three years of your career goals to go. Don’t think for a second that it’s not worth it, because with that type of mindset it makes almost everything impossible.

Take it a step at a time, and start checking some stuff off the list. Here’s just a few things I hope to have completed within the next year or so:

  • Completed business plan for a cafe in Georgia (2017)
  • Start a podcast on Marriage/Serious relationships (2017) -Looking for a partner to co-host with me…
  • Have three books published (2017-18)

So what are some of your goals on the blue-print? What are you mapping your career/life around? I want to know, too.

  1. Great post. Motivating. My blueprint consists of completing training by the end of the year for Quickbooks for my small business. Completing training on writing business plans and grants for a non-profit that I run with my husband by end of the 1st quarter of 2017. Thanks for sharing.
