130 years ago, an idea changed your world. It was Thomas A. Edison’s motivation that snuffed out ten thousand failures and, finally, switched on the incandescent electric light to beam the great electrical age into our lives and homes.
You have failed many times, although you may not remember. You fell down the first time you tried to walk. Did you hit the ball the first time you swung a bat? Neither get satisfied with present accomplishments, and nor stop striving for greater heights, because I realize that trying your best in everything that you do is the only way to avoid regrets.
- The world’s top batsman Sachin Tendulkar failed to score number of times.
- The ever time superstar Amitab Bachhan rolled in number of movies those flopped.
- English novelist John Creasey got 753 rejection slips before he published 564 books.
- In 1832- Abraham Lincoln lost his job.
In 1832- He failed in his business.
In 1833- He was elected to legislature.
In 1834- His sweetheart died.
In 1836- He was defeated for Speaker.
In 1838- He was defeated for nomination for congress.
In 1843- He was elected to congress.
In 1848- He was rejected for land officer.
In 1849- He was defeated when he contested for a Senate.
In 1854- He was defeated for nomination for Vice President.
In 1860, Abraham Lincoln was elected the 16th president of the United States of America! So, commit to your goals – and to yourself!
Persistence and perseverance to achieve a goal are never a waste of time. ” You are the only one that can stop you from reaching your goals.” Those who say : can’t and impossible will do well to learn the philosophy from the poem.
If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think that you dare not – you don’t.
If you’d like to win but think you can’t.
It’s almost a cinch you won’t.
If you think you’ll lose- you’ve lost !!
Don’t wait for a crisis to discover your hidden abilities, develop it in every day life to enrich the lives of others as well as your own.
If man is progressive, eager and receptive and ever planning to improve, he will lead others. To remain at the top, you have to work much harder than those behind you. All they need to do is imitate you to catch up.

I am new to blogging. Some posts get a lot of likes and views, some get none. I suppose I learn more from the failures. I learn what doesn’t work. I am honestly learning more by making mistakes and failing than when a post does well. I don’t know how you get better without failure. I call it experience. Please visit my blog and check out some of the articles. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks. bossinthemiddle.com

This is easier said than done. Fear is a nature feeling and if we embrace it then we can deal with it.

Failure is the vital ingredient to success. It tests our reserve to see if our burning desire is worthy of the goal we seek.

Yes, we should never be afraid to fail. We learn and improve better only when we taste the failure. It brings out the best in us. Abraham Lincoln’s life story is very inspiring. And also that philosophical poem is awesome. Thanks for posting. 🙂
