I think it’s more necessary than ever to have a vision. A vision of where you want to go, where you want to be. Why ? because it will fuel your motivation, your commitment to keep at it, keep going no matter what.
Everyone need to have a clear vision of your goals because clarity leads to power and power lead to success.
Your vision must combine two elements : your passion and your purpose.
Your passion is what makes you feel alive, excited, engaged naturally. When you find your passion, you will know because you will be thrilled, excited and it will light you up.
Your passion is primordial to build your vision because this is the battery, the core source of your vision. Without it, your vision has no substance, no robustness. When your passion is the core of your vision, you will always have unlimited resources and enthusiasm to bring your vision to reality because doing what you love is called passion.
In regards to your purpose, this is another matter. Having a purpose is to define the ultimate goal that you have in mind, a kind of mission statement of what you want to achieve. Not a self centred goal but a goal driven to help others, to add meaningful value to people and to fulfil you as an individual.
Having a purpose is adding richness and meaning to your vision, to contribute to this world with your uniqueness. And this is invaluable because nobody is like You. You are unique and your vision will be also unique.
