Today is my birthday. And for 17 years I have learnt and experienced so much. I have read a lot of inspirational masterpieces, I have had vivid dreams and goals. I have accomplished some of them, others not.I have met a lot of people, traveled to a lot of places and witnessed tremendous miracles. I have sung till my last breath, painted towns red and laughed in unstoppable way. However I have struggled a lot and continue to do so at times, but I acknowledge my pain and always strive to raise above it.I owe a lot to my family – they are the best, also my friends who have always been right beside me.

So right now I stand in front of you to say – Thanks Life, for everything! I really appreciate everything that has ever happened. And I advise YOU to do the same. Think about your life, have you had time to go back through it and say – “Thanks!” Even though we are often stuck in the monotonous and dull emotion of our daily routine we have a lot to be thankful for. Have you had great moments yourself? Of course! And let me tell you something I have learnt through these 17 modest years:

Your greatest moments, your closest friends and family, your love and contribution to the world – THEY STAY! Even though you don’t always remind them they stay, right there in your heart, they constitute it. Everything else passes away with time but these values remain forever!

  1. Yes, there’s always something to be thankful for. And the best way to fully enjoy and celebrate every part of our lives is to be thankful. It’s such a great post, thank you!
