What if you met the author, August Wilson, and he said “All you need in the world is love and laughter. That’s all anybody needs. To have love in one hand and laughter in the other.”

I feel this inspiring quote gives reason to appreciate mirth. Laughter relates to so much good in our lives. They say laughter is the best medicine.

  • Laughter can boost the immune system and even aid in circulation.
  • Laughter wakes up healthy physical changes in the body
  • Laughter can bind people together increasing happiness and caring
  • Laughter is a prescription for stress and it’s free and user friendly!

Oh, and by the way, laughter is contagious. When you hear that hearty guffaw, aren’t you drawn in and curious as to the reason?  Isn’t it tempting to want to join the fun and laugh along with?

A sense of humor is infectious and connects you to others. It keeps you focused and relieves tension and stress. Laughter can act as a social alert system by ringing out through a crowd and its melody becomes noticeably joyful.

Learn to giggle at the little things in life because you may find it’s easier to let out a healthy roar at the big things.

Even if we feel our world is askew and we’re depressed, laughter can stir up our emotions and help us shake off those despondent feelings.  You know I would rather have laugh lines than frown lines, wouldn’t you?

Cheers!
