“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” – Albert Schweitzer
There are 5 types of people in the world:
1. Those who do not know what they want in life, and do nothing about it.
2. Those who know what they want in life, but don’t know what to do to achieve it.
3. Those who know what they want in life, know what to do but do nothing.
4. Those who know what they want in life, know what to do, and do something about it – but inconsistently (by the way, they are also the ones who easily gives up!)
5. Those who know what they want in life, and do everything they can in their power to achieve it.
My friends, to be happy, it is not enough that one must know what he or she wants in life. It is important to DO something about it.
God has given us resources. All we need to do is use them!

I started at 1, for a long time I didin’t now what I wanted. Then 2, I knew what I wanted but I didn’t know how to because all I could think about was how to save money for the study. Then 3, I had the money and I knew what I had to do but at this time I was doubting if it would be a good move so I ended up doing nothing for a few years. Now I’m at 4, I finally chose to study but I’m not giving up! I’d like to say I’m at 5 and I really would like to do everything I can but the fear that things go wrong, that I’m not capable of doing it right is sometimes getting the upperhand of me and it’s hard to control that.

Thank you for your generous comment. I understand your fear. Most of us if not all has the fear of failure or disappointment of not getting the expected outcome. But it helps to know that most successful people experienced multiple failures before they got to where they’re at now. Just imagine the worse thing that could happen when you fail- nobody’s going to die, right? 😉

Hey Nina!
Your note on #4 is clever “(by the way, they are also the ones who easily gives up)”. I was thinking “#4 isn’t so bad”, until I read that. LOL. Makes it kind of impossible to be satisfied with being on that level. Who wants that label? Nice way to motivate us to keep moving to #5.
You made a comment about some of my posts and how I incorporated God that really made me think. After some prayer and thought, I have decided to change my website slightly. My “about the blog” and “boss philosophy” have changed. I wanted to thank you for your comment and continued support. You helped open my eyes and I believe a new chapter in my blogging journey. God is truly using you. Don’t stop!
Thank you.
