Live Your Life to the Fullest! Here’s How! (2 min read)

1. Follow what your heart says.

Always follow what your heart says no matter what everyone else is saying. Way too often too many people are caught up doing what everyone else is doing and then tend to forget about who they are. Be careful about what you do and why you do something because you can often lose yourself in the process. Listen to what your heart says for once because your brain can often set you up in a trap.

“RULES FOR HAPPINESS: Something to do, someone to love, something to hope for.”- Immanuel Kant

I love Immanuel Kants’ Rules for Happiness. I agree with him 100%. According to him, people are happy when they have these 3 things: Continue reading Happiness… Want Some? (1 min read)

When we have a problem and feel as though our life is falling apart, our tendency is to “escape” from the miserable state that we’re at- and most often than not, we resolve to the quick fixes that are also self-destructive at some point: We drink. We party like hell in the company of people who more or less do not care about what’s going on with your life. We take drugs to forget or have sex with strangers. But guess what– the next day, YOUR PROBLEM IS STILL THERE because these quick fix are not really the solutions but a temporary escape from your reality.

Remember the Good Things

The struggle with my finances hits rock bottom again. I thought the monsters were gone only to find out they were still behind the curtains of my soul doing their job of destroying every bit of me. And it was damn exhausting. Dying seems the easiest way out but it is not an option I can pick for myself. The choice belongs to the owner of life, not mine. Efficient Effectiveness (2 min read)

Ok broham, we’ve got a little something to talk about today.

This actually came up in my private Facebook group
So I thought it’d be a great idea to share my thoughts with
Everyone, since I believe this is something very important
That we all should know.

Ok so there’s 3 things that I think that we should all know.
Two of them they teach early on in school, but unfortunately
The third, not so much.
What are they?
Pretty simple really…

Addition, Subtraction, and the 80/20 rule or
As it’s formally called, Pareto principle
The first two (I hope) you already know, but the last one
You may not be so familiar with.
So let me break it down in our language so we can talk…

The 80/20 principle is simply about the law of averages.
It’s actually a principle of nature that is based on chaos theory.
Essentially what it amounts to is that 20% of what you do is
Going to amount to 80% of your results

It’s something you see everywhere.
20% of the population has 80% of the wealth
The average person uses 20% of their apps 80% of the time
20% of the clothes you wear probably 80% of the time
Contractors use only 20% of their tools for 80% of their work.

You see it everywhere and when you understand what it is
You can use it to help you in everyday life.

First of all, you will see that in nature nothing can be equal
So, if you’re hoping for a society where everyone has equal
Wealth or what have you, then you’ll be fighting nature
And that my friend, is a tough battle.

For the full potential of the 80/20 rule, it’s just a matter
Of doing whatever it is that you are good at and get better.
Pretty simple right?!

Not everyone can be a billionaire, but if everyone works to
Their fullest potential by finding power through strength
Then everyone can and will eventually help society
Become stronger as a whole.

So do yourself (and society) a favor and stop living in the 80%

First, know yourself. Or as Socrates put it: “Know Thyself”
Sounds a little vague, but you can gain clarity by first
Getting in touch with yourself (ha…touch yourself) with
Daily meditation and exercise.
It doesn’t take long, but it has a huge benefit on your psyche
And helps you produce amazing results in every part of your life.

Life is like a dream

It can be good or bad

It can be happy or sad

Death is like a dream

Never ending

And unforgiving

In between is like a dream

But still remains unseen

As experiences of your being

Life may be pleasant

Death may be peaceful

No shows won’t know

In between may be troublesome

Cheers!

I Need to Be Me (1 min read)

With darkness looming in my mind, my thoughts are spineless bits of shredded time. Such confusion and sadness doesn’t become me. Surely, these feelings can not overcome me. A long life behind me, but never so bleak. A long life ahead of me, happiness, I shall seek.

Let the light from day spill into night; a slivered sun ray please come my way.

As the day begins to darken, is there a message I should harken? I must be cautious of my perspective; take a stand not to be reflective, and resign myself from my mind. My glass half full, my glass half empty, darkness cannot tempt me.

Let the light from night spill into day; a silvered moonbeam please come my way.

Again, sensing doom I am swallowed by gloom. I can only cry and with no reason to try. I must be bold, I am told! It is not wrong to be strong. I must bring light into my sights; making wrongs into rights.

Let the light from the day spill into night; let the light from night spill into the day.

You may laugh, but I will settle for half. The peacefulness of dusk or the loveliness of dawn; neither night nor day. Perhaps a little gray?  At last, we have met halfway, at least for today.

Whether a slivered sun ray or a silvered moon beam; please come my way and make my day.  Please let it be, I need to be me.

Cheers!
