How many times has someone asked you a question that you didn’t know the answer to, and you replied, “Let’s Google that!”
Well, I say that all the time. I am always Googling this, or Googling that. I love Google and I could research till the cows come home! I am a born researcher.

We are seeing a glimpse into the future of technology. Pokémon Go topping over 20 million downloads is viral. The game has years of fan base development but hasn’t seen positive reception like this for over a decade. I don’t believe it is the game that is so revolutionary but the technology.

When students have assignments to do, they have to go to their school libraries to search for the answers but now they can wait till night and go to computer shops and once they were fitted in just one click they can search from the Google the answers to it. Lucky are those who have their own computers and laptops at home or at least cell phones which can work on data or WiFi, no need to walk from home because they can get what they need.

I might see someone carrying their shopping home. But what’s home to them? Is it a nice cozy house with a lovely family to go back to, or are they going home to a stressed and strained relationship? Or are they homeless?

Disclaimer: Before I begin, if you didn’t know, last year I released my very first short film to the world (or the internet). I had never been so nervous in my life, but I was proud of my incredibly amateurish piece of work. In the end, it was really a learning experience of how not to make a short film, but all of that will be covered in the following blog entries. If you haven’t seen it, please watch it before reading any of the material.

If social media platforms were polarized on a scale of sentiment – positive or negative – where would the majority of its users fall? On one end we have internet trollers, hacking thieves, and cyber-bullying. On the other, we have uplifting campaigns built for humanity and social good, or we could look at the continually growing self-help movement. How does this affect us?

1. Know your subject
Don’t just see a beautiful scene and capture it. Analyse it first, decide your perspective. Don’t click the picture from the view point where people normally see. Think out of the box, get down on your knees, get in the mud, crawl between the bushes to get the best shot possible.

1. Do your Research
Sometimes you think you can find a great shot on the spot. It’s true. But we can’t always do that. That’s why we must do some research on the place you want to photograph. Find the location on google map, the location, how its looks like, and so on. Or you can photos from another photographer who have been there.
